The primary focus of the Tri-Cities Drum Circle is to provide the community with drumming circles for learning and for sharing the heartbeat. However, several of its members perform with other groups in our area (such as drumming for the Sultana Dancers of the Tri-Cities) and members of the Tri-Cities Drum Circle are invited to join in the fun!!

Note to drum circle members who wish to perform with the Sultana Dancers Troupe: if you would like to drum for any of the upcoming Sultana Dancers performances, you need to do the following:

1. Contact Laurie Nearing directly to notify her that you are interested in playing for a performance. Be sure to email her directly.

2. Attend the required practices for the performance prior to it. Contact Laurie Nearing directly to verify which days and times are scheduled for practices before any performances. New material and cues, rhythms and dances may be introduced in the coming months. Therefore it is important to attend the practices. Laurie also always requires a headcount of which drummers can commit to performances ahead of time before she can commit the dancers to performing with live drumming. All very reasonable requirements really.
