We use mail lists (configured for "broadcast-only" mode -- they cannot be replied to) to send out newsletters to our drum circle members. At this time we have two newsletters which anyone can subscribe (or unsubscribe) to using the mail list subscription facility below:

newsletter@thedrumcircle.org goes out about once a week to over 150 handed drummers in our area, notifying them of special drumming events, the monthly jams and their workshops, drumming performances and performance practices and related musical festivals held in central and south-eastern Washington state and north-eastern Oregon state which are open to the general public.

performancegroup@thedrumcircle.org goes out to about 20 members of the drum circle who perform with the Sultana Dancers whenever they need information about practices, performances and event information/directions or performance resources such as rhythm and show lineup sheets.

Email addresses subscribed to our organization's newsletters are never shared with any individual, organization or business without the address owner's express permission, and you can have your email address subscribed or unsubscribed to any of them at any time using the facility below.

Note to Email account Users with Built-In Spam Prevention Technologies:
If your email software requires you to configure your email account to only receive email from specific addresses (to reduce spam), make sure you configure your email account to receive email from our newsletter addresses if you subscribe to them. We can't reach you if you don't configure your account to let us do so. All this webpage facility does is subscribe you to specified newsletters. It doesn't bypass your personal email security features to avoid getting spam. Hotmail and AOL accounts are infamous for preventing people you want to reach you from being able to do so (as their default settings assume no one should be able to reach you unless you configure it to do so). We do not subscribe our newsletter addresses to any spam-preventing email technologies to reach you, so please don't ask us to do that for you. If you wish to subscribe to any of our newsletters, please use an account you can configure to receive email from us. Thanks.
