The Tri-Cities Drum Circle meets on the third sunday of each month from 2:00-5:00pm for its monthly jam. Be sure to check your latest copy of the Tri-Cities Drum Circle newsletter for the location as it can vary. If you need immediate information about an upcoming jam, please email us at info@thedrumcircle.org and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

These free drumming gatherings are completely facilitated, are open to the public, and are designed for new and veteran drummers alike. They usually consist of workshops (for a complete listing of upcoming workshops at the jams, use this link) on drumming rhythms, drumming techniques and drum maintenance, and they also offer some time for freeform jamming.

Children's policy: children are welcome to the Monthly Jams but only if they are supervised by a legal guardian throughout the jam and only if the children are there to drum themselves. Please do not bring infants as the volume of our activities easily upsets them.

The folks who meet for these jams are people of diverse spiritual paths, backgrounds, and drumming experiences. They come together for an afternoon for one purpose: to learn from each other and to share the heartbeat using their "bangy thing of choice." Our primary focus with these gatherings is to build a drumming community which encourages everyone's full participation, regardless of one's drumming skill or experience.

Bring:
your drum
comfy clothes
drinking water

Do Not Bring:
religious agendas
political agendas
business/marketing agendas

We come together to drum. Period. The above policy creates a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who attends. Although some of our members have experience with the purchasing, building and maintaining of drums, we do not use our drumming events as opportunities to promote drum sales or services. However, we have several folks in our circle who own, build and/or maintain their own drums, and meeting these folks is a great way to get information about drums in general.

We also offer a Drummin Resources page for local drumming vendors and local drumming service providers to list themselves for the benefit of our members. National resources are also listed. For further details on the group or any of its events, email us at info@thedrumcircle.org.
